This week Ann-Notated looks a little different than previously. Â If you've been with me awhile, you know that these weekly posts are filled with great resources from around the web. Â I spend time to find the BEST articles on a given topic, so I don't want Ann-Notated to get lost in the shuffle, looking too similar from week to week. Â Let me know whether you like the new look!
One of the topics on the blog this week has been that a great way to de-stress your life is to declutter your home.  Along those lines, I thought it would be helpful to have a resource list for how to go about the decluttering process.  Here it is!
How Others Declutter
How I purged 91% of Our Stuff — Money Saving Mom always has good advice, whether it's her own, or as in this case, from a guest post. Â My favorite is #3.
How I Simplified and Organized My House, Room by Room — this is a VERY thorough post at House Mix, nice and long, with LOTS of pictures, so it's an amazing resource. Â And to top that, there's even a printable checklist!
How to Declutter Without Making a Bigger Mess — I can tell already that the writer of A Slob Comes Clean is my kinda gal. Â Anybody who uses a word like deslobification (or makes it up!) is my friend for life!
How We Got Rid of Half of Our Stuff  — the best part of this post at East And is the questions to ask yourself when deciding whether to keep or toss that item.
How I Decluttered My Entire House in 6 Days — Davonne Parks shows us how to do the quick and dirty method. Â Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Keeping a Clean House: the One-Touch Rule — Yep.  Here's the best tip I know of for avoiding clutter in the first place… just sayin'…

How to Declutter Stress-Free — I'm all about stress-free! Laura Sue Shaw discusses breaking the job up into smaller, manageable chunks.  Sounds like my idea for Five- and Ten-Minute Jobs!
Decluttering Sentimental Objects — This article contains a BRILLIANT idea for dealing with those items that you are emotional about — but you'll have to click to see what it is… :-)
Decluttering Your Home Room by Room — You can't go wrong with anything written at Living on a Dime. Â This article lists what to keep and what to chuck, for each room in your home.
20+ Things You Can Get Rid of Without Even Missing  — I think on this one, the title speaks for itself.  Go see what those 20+ things are!
8 Tips for Decluttering on a Low Income (from a mom who's been there) — June from This Simple Life has some great tips here, because frankly, even decluttering can be a drain on the finances — but maybe not the way you're thinking. When the income is low, you might want to approach the whole thing differently. June explains how!
And last, but hopefully not least, my own post on how to declutter your home, which is part of a popular series on this blog — Prepping Your House to Sell: Â Declutter and Organize.
Track of the Week: Â I couldn't think of a song with related content, unless you count decluttering people from your life, lol. Â Love Don't Live Here Anymore by Lady Antebellum has all the qualities that make break-up songs so great. Â It's one of my favorites to jam to on road-trips.
P.S. If you like my Ann-Notated lists on homeschooling, frugality, and a variety of other topics, you can subscribe to my blog and not miss a single one! Â Just put your email in the box on the sidebar. :-)

Thank you for this great list. My house really needs a good declutter and this is a good reminder and motivation. Dividing it into smaller manageable chunks might do the trick.
Yes, Rolene, it can seem daunting to look at the whole thing at once. Divide and conquer! Thanks for stopping by! :-)
