Computer Science 2: Advanced Systems, Coding, and Creative Engineering

Prerequisite: Completion of Computer Science 1

For students who are ready to go deeper, Computer Science 2 offers an advanced, real-world exploration of professional technology skills and systems thinking. Building directly on the foundation laid in Computer Science 1, this high school–level course challenges students to refine their expertise across a wide range of technical disciplines—from backend systems and AI to web development and game engineering.

This course is designed for students who are serious about computer science and interested in developing both breadth and depth of knowledge. Learners will work through increasingly complex projects that reinforce high-level concepts like machine learning, database management, and networking protocols, while also expanding their creative capabilities in 3D design and game development.

With a culminating Capstone Project designed to demonstrate mastery, students will walk away with a portfolio-worthy experience that prepares them for college-level coursework, internship opportunities, or entry-level certification study.

This course fulfills the requirements for a Computer Science credit and is best suited for highly motivated high school students exploring future careers in tech.
