Episodes 9-11: Homeschooling High School with Younger Kids Around

As you anticipate homeschooling high school with your oldest, it's natural to wonder how you will make it work with all the younger kids that you still have to homeschool as well.

High school is harder—at least that's what you've been told—and your teen may need you more.

But your youngers still need your help to learn to READ, hello. Or at least to figure out long division. Am I right?

How can you fit it all in? You are only one mom, after all.

In the next three podcast episodes, I've interviewed Lynna Sutherland, a mom of EIGHT whose oldest is homeschooling high school right now. There's still a two-year-old running around their house, and several others in between. Phew, I thought my family life when the kids were home was busy… but this is a whole ‘nother level!

Lynna has some great tips and strategies for homeschooling high school even with a handful (or more!) of youngers around. You'll find that she's articulate and interesting and thought-provoking and most of all, relatable.

If you're wondering how you'll do it, or you're attempting it right now and feeling scattered, then listen in on our conversation. I think you'll be encouraged. :-)

NOTE: These episodes do have some Christian content but they are not exclusively for Christian homeschoolers. There is plenty of information that will be helpful for EVERYONE. :-)
