Ann-Notated: Home Remedies Caboodle

This week's post about My Favorite Sinus Headache Remedies got me thinking about other health ailments that can be treated with home remedies using ingredients found around the kitchen.  So here's a great starter list of treatments for all sorts of health issues.

One thing about this list is that most of the home remedies do NOT use essential oils.  I've said before and will continue to reiterate that I have had success with essential oils myself and am by no means against them.  BUT THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.  Of course they are less expensive than going to the doctor; I don't dispute that.  But I still have trouble keeping a stock of them in my house, because of the cost of purchasing them.  So most of these remedies do not incorporate them.  My goal is for things to be as easy and cheap as possible, and essential oils just don't fit that mindset for me, even though I love the idea of them.  Please don't be offended. :-)

And one last thing, y'all:  obviously I'm not a doctor, and I haven't tried many of these myself (although some are old friends), so please just use your own best judgment about which ones you want to try.

Looking for home remedies for a variety of ailments? Look no further; I've got a nice list all on one page!

I haven't written anything about these links, because the titles basically say it all… :-)
